Made With Love

On April 2nd, my godson had birthday party. Before that day, he told me to make two birthday cake, one for his friends at school and the other one for his friends at home. On my busy rushed time I said okay, bacause when I saw he was so happy looked at my activity which is make his cake. And he also tried to help me in the kitchen even he's a boy. He said magic words to make me feel better because he knew that I was very tired. He said 'thanks to you godma for these birthday cakes, and I'm so sorry to waste your time. Me and my friends will sooo happy eat this cake', hmmmm . . . totally magic words.

Making these cake, so simple in fact. First of all, lets start with the ingredients

- 4 eggs
- 250 gr sugar
- 200 gr butter (room tempurature)
- 250 gr flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp vanilla milk powder


Process

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, brush the cake pan with butter and little flour, make sure you do it perfectly and leave it after.

Mix together in the big bowl 4 eggs and sugar for several times, put butter, salt, baking powder, vanilla extract and milk powder for few minutes or until those ingredients mixed perfectly. Last, put flour slowly and mix it until all ingredients mixed perfectly.

Move it to the cake pan and oven it for about an hour.

I made two cake, then I brushed one of them with strawberry jam and cheese.




Butter Cream Frosting

For butter cream frosting, I copied Laura Vitale ingredients. 

Ingredients :
- 1 and 1/2 cups of unsalted butter, room temperature
- 4 cups of powdered sugar ( must be powdered)
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp powdered milk

Process,
 In small bowl, mix all together the ingredient until you get smooth, perfect cream. For this occasion, my godson has requested purple as the colour. 




This fresh strawberries I chose as the topping, also chocolate rice.

Well, I made two cakes. For this cake i chose blue and pink as the colour of frosting sugar cream and M@M chocolate for the decoration. For the cake, I chose chocolate cake. It's same ingredient but . . . please take 200 gr for flour and 50 gr for chocolate powder.
